
Best Vegan Crispy Vegetable Carrot Cumin Bites
Ingredients
- 100 g chickpea flour
- 80 ml water
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- ½ teaspoon turmeric
- 1 tbsp nutritional yeast flakes
- 2 spring onions / scallions or a small onion
- small clove garlic
- salt
- pepper
- 2 medium or 4 small carrots finely chopped or grated
- vegetable oil
- dipping sauce of choice
Instructions
- Chop by hand or in a food processor the spring onions, carrot, garlic
- In a bowl, mix the vegetables with the chickpea flour and seasonings
- Add the water and mix well
- Shape into small bite size patties and flatten slightly to about 2cm thick
- Shallow fry until golden and crisp on both sides
- Serve with a delicious dip of your choice or service in wraps with lots of salad and slaw
